摘 要

 

In spatial regression analysis, the collinearity between covariates and spatial random effects may lead to significant bias in the fixed effect estimation. This issue is referred to as spatial confounding. A reliable inference is difficult due to unobserved spatial random effects. Some techniques under restricted spatial regression had been proposed, but how to modify the biased estimators of regression coefficients remains an active research topic. We propose a novel estimation method to estimate regression coefficients in the presence of spatial confounding and its superiorities are demonstrated theoretically and numerically. Also, a real data example is presented to illustrate the usefulness of the proposed estimation method.
