The course plan for the bachelor’s degree program mainly focuses on cultivating students’ knowledge of basic statistical theory, logical reasoning (thinking) in mathematics, statistical programming, data analysis skills, and application of professional knowledge. Above all, the program offers a general education curriculum which provides broad exposure to multiple disciplines in addition to in-depth study are also required to fit liberal education in a global and pluralistic scope. On the other hand, the course plan for the thesis-oriented master’s degree program is based on developing and enhancing students' data analysis skills and their ability to conduct research of statistical theory, acquire interdisciplinary knowledge, using logical thinking, statistical programming, and statistical consulting.
